 #TenToo’s face is so calm when she says ”He’s not you” #He must be writhing on the inside #furious and hurt and terrified and thinking all his worst fears have been realized #that Rose has rejected him because she doesn’t know #she doesn’t realize#he IS the Doctor in every way that counts #But he keeps his face still and calm #not for her sake (because she can’t see she’s facing the other way) #he keeps his face impassive for the other Time Lord Doctor #and most especially for Donna #Because if the metacrisis shows that weakness #if he frowns or grimaces or screams (oh god he wants to let it go that scream #wants to shout till the waves echo with it) #Donna won’t be able to let him go #She can’t stand to see him in pain #she never has been able to #and this metacrisis him is no exception (via gallifreyburning)
